Dirks milestone birthday.

Dirk Van Teulingen celebrated his 100^th birthday on the 8^th July.

Dirk first joined our club in 1990 and his bowls achievements with us included playing 407 pennant games, was part of our winning midweek Div 11 pennant side in 2011/12 and played in a couple of Saturday pennant grand finals.   Dirk won the club triples championship with Lou Crameri and John Mayne in 2002/3 and won the Club minor singles championship in 2000/01.

 Dirk also served the Club as a member of the Social Bowls Committee for 6 years and helped out with cleaning and greens maintenance as well as doing some general painting around the Club.

Dirk often still makes his way to the Club in his mobility transport and we look forward to seeing him this year again when the weather warms up.   Congratulations Dirk and all the best from all of us.
