Fitzroy Victoria Bowls Club visits for shield game
Fitzroy Victoria Bowls Club visited Torquay Bowls Club for the first "City vs Surf" annual friendship game. Three teams of four players from Fitzroy's top side challenged 12 of Torquay's players for the shield. A number of club members came to witness the battle & saw some impressive bowling with even scores throughout. Fitzroy however pulled away in the final ends to take the win & the shield will travel back down the highway this year!
