Bowling members, special guests, government & local officials and sponsors gathered for our official opening of the 2019-20 bowls season on Friday 30th August.
Emceed by our manager Peter Temple, the night's speakers were sponsor - Lifestyle Communities, Bowls President Alan Murphy and Surf Coast Shire Mayor Rose Hodge. Cr Hodge also rolled the traditional first bowl of the season across the clubroom floor.
We look forward to returning to the greens, however this has been delayed as they remain closed for another week due to recent wet weather. Our official opening of the greens social bowls will be held Saturday 7th September (weather permitting).
