Club members gathered on Saturday 3rd September, 2022 for the official opening of new season with Life Members rolling down the first bowls.
Board of Management Chair, Peter Anderson spoke, joined by invited dignitaries including the current member for Polwarth, Richard Riordan, endorsed labor candidate, Hutch Hussein and the Chair of Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority (GORCAPA), Libby Mears.
Five of our life members then took turns to roll down a bowl; Kevin McCormack, Don Mariager, Geoff Grigg, Gwenda Grigg & John Forbes followed by very creditable efforts by first time bowlers Libby Mears & Hutch Hussein.
Members then took to the green for our opening Summer Season social bowls. Post 03/09/2022
